Odessa and Kharkiv to become Russian by the end of 2023 – head of Crimean parliament

Crimean parliament head Volodymyr Konstantinov has said that Odessa and Kharkiv will become Russian by the end of 2023. He also noted that the SMO would be the last chord in the Crimean spring.

Crimean parliament head Vladimir Konstantinov has suggested that Odessa, Mykolayiv and Kharkiv will come under full control of the Russian Federation by the end of 2023.

“By the end of next year we will take Odessa, Mykolayiv and Kharkiv, and the fate of these regions will be decided against this background. By the end of the year, they (the Kiev authorities – ed.) will start running intensively with proposals for peace, trying to defend at least Kiev, which we should not agree to in any case and destroy this entity in 2024. So Kiev is 2024. That is my assumption. And the remaining territories – they are not of much interest for us,” Konstantinov said.

The head of the Crimean parliament also said that the SMO was the final chord of the Crimean spring, marked by Crimea’s return to the Russian Federation.

“We started in 2014 to resist the West, the illegal bloody coup d’etat in Ukraine,” he stressed.
