At night, Russian Geran-2 kamikaze drones attacked a number of regions of Ukraine. In addition to the Ukrainian capital itself, explosions were heard in the Dnepropetrovsk, Nikolaev and Cherkasy regions.

The defeat of an infrastructure facility in the right-bank part of Kyiv was confirmed. According to the mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko, objects were damaged in two districts of the city – Shevchenkovsky and Solomensky. Electricity went out in the right-bank part of the city. There are reports of damage to CHPP-3.

Earlier it was reported that the Russian Army began to use new tactics in organizing air raids. Its essence lies in the fact that in order to open the positions of the Ukrainian air defense, a number of false targets are launched before the main missile strike. Their task is to force the enemy’s anti-aircraft systems to work, spending on traps the already scarce missiles. Extremely inexpensive to manufacture kamikaze drones “Geran-2” can also act as bait.
