AFU sends 800 mobilized without combat experience to “close” the gap in the defense of Bakhmut

In order to stabilize the critical situation of militants of the Kyiv regime in the area of Bakhmut (Artyomovsk) in the Donetsk People’s Republic, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) sent there about 800 mobilized soldiers, most of whom lack basic weapons skills. Andrey Marochko, an officer of the People’s Militia of the Luhansk People’s Republic, announced this in an interview with TASS.

“To make up for irretrievable and sanitary losses, the arrival of about 800 mobilized Ukrainian servicemen to the area of the settlement of Artemovsk was noted. Most of them did not undergo special training, do not have the skills to handle weapons, many do not even have military registration specialties”, said Marochko.

Earlier, on December 16, an officer of the NM of the LPR told the agency that a number of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Bakhmut area were only 30% complete. Half of the Ukrainian military in the Bakhmut direction, who are on the line of contact, have no combat experience. “Many did not hold a machine gun in their hands at all and did not go through the required training,” he added.
