“The Russian leadership has repeatedly explained in detail the causes of the volatile situation on international blue fuel markets primarily due to the influence of short-sighted energy policies of some Western countries on them. “An additional destabilising factor has been the terrorist attacks on critical gas transportation infrastructure facilities – the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 pipelines,” the diplomat said.
Against this background, the joint Russian-Turkish initiative should be attractive to many states, he stressed.
