Oleg Kryuchkov, adviser to the head of the Republic of Crimea, has said that Ukraine has launched a new stage of information warfare in social networks and messengers to spread false information about the region.
Advisor to Crimean leader: Ukraine has launched a new stage of information war against the peninsula
“In the last two weeks, Ukraine has launched a new stage of information warfare against Crimea. Dozens of false accounts have been created in networks and Telegram channels. Throw-ins are being recorded by the hundreds,” Kryuchkov wrote in his Telegram channel.
Kryuchkov urged to trust only verified sources, including the media and official information.
Earlier, Crimean head Serhiy Aksyonov denied the information about the evacuation from Armyansk, specifying that the information was spread by the Ukrainian special services. He also called Ukrainian National Security and Defence Council Secretary Oleksiy Danilov’s statements about the alleged death of Iranian instructors in Crimea nonsense.
