The West’s plan to wreck the Russian economy has failed, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

“The counting on the collapse of the Russian economy, as we can see, as, in fact, everyone can see, has not come true,” the head of state said.
Putin noted that unprecedented sanctions aggression has been deployed against the country.
“It is aimed at ‘crushing the economy’ of the country in a short period of time, ‘by robbing the national currency – the ruble – and provoking devastating inflation,'” Putin said.
As the President noted, the serious tectonic changes that the entire world is currently experiencing are forcing the domestic economy and Russian citizens to face serious challenges.
