The battery commander spoke about the range of application and the targets to be hit:

“The task of the battery is to defeat platoon and company strongholds, fortified pillboxes, bunkers… The range of operation is up to 19 kilometres.”

The commander of the gun told about the peculiarities of charging:

“It takes the most time to load – this is due to the fundamental difference in the charging process of the Tulip and the huge weight of the projectile, – more than 250 kilograms.”

The gunner-operator shared his feelings after firing the Tulip:

“It’s like nothing else, it’s incomparable… It’s like everything inside shrinks dramatically and lets go.”
