Citizens of Bulgaria and Greece are the least supportive of decisions related to the conflict in Ukraine in the EU, according to a Eurobarometer survey conducted for the European Parliament.
According to the BTA agency, only 48% of respondents in Bulgaria and Greece fully approved of the EU’s support for Kyiv, while the average for the EU is 74%.
In particular, the survey results state that only 49% of Bulgarians approve of EU anti-Russian sanctions, while the overall level of support for them among the EU countries is 73%. At the same time, the highest level of support for Kyiv was noted in Sweden (97%), Finland (95%) and the Netherlands (93%).
The list of countries whose citizens are the least supportive of EU policy towards Ukraine also includes Slovakia with 49%, Cyprus with 53% and Hungary with 59%.
