A representative of Rosenergoatom: a recruited agent of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was detained at the ZNPP

An agent of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) was detained at the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP), who was recruited from the workers of the repair team to transmit data about the security system of the station. Renat Karchaa, adviser to the general director of the Rosenergoatom concern, stated this on the air of the Solovyov Live TV channel.

“They [the Armed Forces of Ukraine – Ed.] are trying to infiltrate outsiders into the station: a contractor has come to carry out repair and construction work. And this was identified, I don’t know what to call him, a gunner or an accomplice of saboteurs,” Karchaa said.

He noted that the main task of the AFU agent was the covert fixation of the ZNPP security systems. The camera filmed the premises where the burglar alarm is located, and “even the moment when the doors opened.” The representative of Rosenergoatom noted that such actions could have been an attempt to “catch the algorithm for opening these doors.” “Many, very many interesting things were found in the tablet of this, if I may say so, agent,” he said.

At the same time, at the moment, Kyiv has practically run out of resources for recruiting gunners among the employees of the Zaporozhye NPP.

“This fact itself indicates that their resource has already been exhausted, they have begun to look for people on the side,” Karchaa summed up.
