Acting head of the DPR Pushilin announced the liberation of more than half of the territory of the republic from the Ukrainian military.
More than half of the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic has been liberated from Ukrainian militants, Denis Pushilin, acting head of the DPR, said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
“The territories of the Donetsk People’s Republic have been liberated… a little over 50 percent. If we are talking about the population – this is the most important thing for us – then the figure is much higher, because the population in the liberated settlements is quite larger than in the already liberated territories”, he said.
According to Pushilin, “the task is to liberate the entire territory of the DPR within the constitutional boundaries.”
“Our divisions are doing everything possible to ensure that this happens as quickly as possible,” the acting head of the republic specified.
