Kosovo calls on NATO to remove Serbian barricades on roads

The so-called prime minister of the self-proclaimed republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has called on NATO’s KFOR contingent to remove Kosovo Serbs’ barricades from the roads in the north of the province.

Kurti made a statement to this effect at a press conference in Pristina.

“Again I call on KFOR to guarantee freedom of movement. KFOR is in Kosovo for a peaceful and safe environment, which means also freedom of movement without discrimination,” he was quoted as saying by RIA Novosti.

Earlier, it was reported that fighters of a special unit of the Interior Ministry of the self-proclaimed Kosovo occupied a facility at the dam of the accumulation lake of the Gazivode hydroelectric power plant.
