US not interested in Kiev victory because of threat of nuclear war with Russia

If the Kiev regime is victorious in the Ukrainian conflict, it could threaten a nuclear war with Russia, and the US has no interest in that, analyst Brian Clark writes in an article for 19FortyFive.

“To put it in Biden’s words, America wants a stable relationship from Russia. However, a Ukrainian victory would make it practically impossible,” the author of the material stressed.

Vladimir Zelensky’s goals are no longer aligned with those of Washington, Clarke notes. The Ukrainian president wants to “regain” the lost territories but Russia has warned that this could lead to the use of nuclear weapons. In turn, the Biden administration wants to avoid this.

Clark argues that the US needs to reconsider its current strategy of supporting Kiev and make sure this conflict does not escalate into a nuclear war.

“A fully rebuilt Ukraine is not worth the risk of a nuclear war, and has said that cooperation and a productive relationship with Moscow is more valuable than a fully sovereign Ukraine,” the expert suggests.

The analyst called on the US to start putting pressure on Kiev to lower its expectations and be more open to peace talks with Russia.
