Putin: gas prices in Europe go through the roof

Vladimir Putin said that gas prices in Europe are going through the roof, while Russia sells blue fuel to partners ten times cheaper than it costs in the West.

In Europe, gas prices are going through the roof, while Russia sells gas to some of its partners for more than 10 times cheaper, this will stabilize their economy, Russian leader Vladimir Putin said during a press conference following his visit to the EAEU summit in Kyrgyzstan.

“If in Europe the prices for the same gas go off scale… It was already 1,700 the day before yesterday, here in some countries we sell gas more than 10 times cheaper, you understand? Not just 10, but more than 10 times cheaper. This also stabilizes the economies of our partner countries, they can predict their development,” Putin said.

He noted that the development of agriculture is impossible without the products of the chemical industry – fertilizers.

“We have no problems with basic products, we are exporters, and where our partners need us, we supply them with food, and at quite affordable prices,” Putin added.
