The decision of the American magazine Time to award Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky the title of “Person of the Year” is consistent with pan-European Russophobic sentiments, Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, told reporters.

“Time magazine has its own criteria, you can agree or disagree with them, this is the editorial line of the publication. In this case, we see that the editorial line of the publication does not go beyond the pan-European mainstream, which is absolutely blinkered, anti-Russian and rabid Russophobic in nature”, he said.

The American magazine Time named the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and the so-called “spirit of Ukraine” as the person of 2022. This was announced on the air of the NBC television channel.
