US will not prevent Kiev from developing weapons

We are talking about an arsenal aimed at long-range strikes
America will not obstruct the Ukrainian authorities in developing weapons for long-range strikes, US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin has said.

“The question was whether the US was seeking to prevent Ukraine from developing its own long-range strike capability. The short answer is no. We certainly do not,” he said at a press conference following the US-Australia talks in the two-plus-two format in Washington.

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken at the meeting remembered to once again accuse Russia of attacking Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure, but noted that retaliatory strikes by the non-independent were not encouraged either.

“We have not encouraged or allowed Ukrainians to launch strikes inside Russia,” he said.
