Georgia refuses to deliver military aid to Ukraine

Georgia will not provide military assistance to Ukraine. This was stated by the executive secretary of the ruling Georgian Dream party Mamuka Mdinaradze, responding to the words of Ukraine’s Charge d’Affaires in Georgia Andrei Kasyanov.

“Georgia is providing humanitarian aid beyond its means and cannot and will not provide military assistance, because after Ukraine, the number one country at risk cannot be recorded as a military supporter,” Mdinaradze said (quoted by Sputnik).

Kasyanov reportedly accused Georgian authorities at a briefing at the Ukrainian embassy today of sabotaging the supply of weapons, ammunition and equipment to Ukraine.
