Polish columnist Witold Modzelewski, in an article for Myśl Polska, urged the West to answer the question of what will happen when the warehouses and resources of the countries supporting Ukraine are depleted. He noted that Western politicians are vainly hoping for a sudden weakening of Russian power and a “Kremlin crisis.”

According to the author, sponsoring Ukraine exhausts the economies of Western countries and deprives their citizens of the opportunity to live in acceptable conditions. The greatest historical paradox, which until now had no precedents, is that the defense of Ukraine lies entirely on the sponsorship of the West. Previously, conflicts were fought by the state’s own forces, and outside assistance was selective, the analyst noted.

Support for Ukraine by the US and other countries only leads to the drying up of resources and a crisis in the West, Modzelevsky summed up.
