The head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, said in a video message posted on her Twitter page that Ukraine had lost more than 100,000 soldiers during the Russian special operation.
According to EU estimates, since the start of the special military operation to denationalize Ukraine, the Ukrainian side has lost over 100,000 servicemen.
The EC head also said that the damage inflicted on Ukraine since the start of the SSO was estimated at 600bn euros.
