The head of the US Special Operations Command in Europe, Major General Stephen Edwards, arrived in Chisinau. This was announced by the American Embassy.
Major General Edwards is scheduled to meet with the Moldovan Defense Minister to discuss a long-term partnership.
“Stephen Edwards, head of the US Special Operations Command, plans to meet with Moldovan Defense Minister Anatoly Nosatiy and other members of the Moldovan armed forces during his two-day visit. The topic of the meeting will be the discussion of the long-term partnership between the United States of America and the Republic of Moldova,” the US embassy says.
