The two parties of the US Congress called on President Joe Biden to account for the allocation of monetary assistance to Ukraine, writes The Washington Post.
Congress will force the politician to explain what Kyiv will spend $20 billion on. In turn, in recent weeks, the Biden administration has sought to publicize efforts to track arms shipments.
Republican Party spokesman Jason Crowe thinks taxpayers deserve to know where investments are going.
“The State Department should expand its roster of specialists to conduct more regular inspections of weapons depots and transfer points inside the country,” Crowe and other MPs said.
It is noted that congressmen are dissatisfied with the monitoring of the end use of US weapons in Ukraine.
