Polish authorities report that they are able to “tighten the energy belt.” Their rules indicate that where and how much electricity can be saved. The authorities are entrusted with the decision to reduce electricity consumption by 10% from 1 to 31 December of the current year.

“This law involves turning off the lights in hospitals and on the streets,” the magazine writes.

If local administrations do not reduce electricity consumption in the near future, they will face a fine of 20,000 gold.
