Peskov rules out possibility of the Russian army leaving Energodar and Zaporizhia NPP

Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov commented on media reports about the alleged signs of Russia’s intention to leave Energodar and Zaporizhzhya NPP.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, in response to the words of the head of the Ukrainian “Energoatom” about the alleged signs of the preparation of Russian units to leave the territory of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant in Energodar, said that there was no need to look for “some signs where they are not.”

“There is no need to look for any signs where they are not and cannot be,” Peskov replied to a request to comment on these statements.

Prior to this, the administration of Energodar stated that the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant remains under the control of Russia.
