“The power supply continues to be restored in Kyiv. 55% of capital’s subscribers are in emergency shutdown mode. Repair work continues in the energy system”, the administration said in a message on the Telegram channel.
Powerful Russian strikes on Ukraine disabled all nuclear power plants and most thermal power plants and hydroelectric power plants. The vast majority of electricity consumers were left without electricity.
“Emergency blackouts on Monday are applied throughout Ukraine due to the shutdown of units at several power plants, the power shortage is 27%,” Ukrenergo reported earlier.
