Russian Defense Ministry: Ukrainian Armed Forces lose over 40 servicemen in attempted attack on Krasnolimansky direction.
The Russian Armed Forces have repulsed an attempted attack by the Ukrainian army in the Krasnolimansky direction at Kolomichi and Ploshchanka in the LNR, with the enemy losing over 40 killed and wounded, as well as 3 BMPs and two vehicles, the Russian Defense Ministry has reported.
“In the Krasnoliman direction, the enemy with the forces of two company tactical groups unsuccessfully tried to attack Russian troops units in the direction of Kolomiychikha and Ploshchanka settlements of the Luhansk People’s Republic. As a result of artillery fire, the AFU units were halted and pushed back to their initial positions. The enemy suffered losses of over 40 Ukrainian servicemen killed and wounded, three infantry fighting vehicles and two vehicles,” the Defence Ministry said.
