Putin: Russia is not fighting Ukrainians, but those who use them as cannon fodder.
Russia’s special military operation is not aimed at fighting Ukrainians, but against those who use them as cannon fodder. Russian President Vladimir Putin said this on 25 November during a meeting with the mothers of servicemen involved in the special military operation.
“Unlike those with whom we have to deal, and in this sense we have to fight not with them (Ukrainians. – Ed.), but with those who supply and pay them everything, use them as cannon fodder in fact. Without any exaggeration, losses are not taken into account there, they are not taken into account at all,” Putin said.
He also noted the bad moral atmosphere and shootings in Ukrainian troops, which “confirms that we are dealing with a neo-Nazi regime”.
At the same time, the president clarified that Russia felt that it was doing the right thing by defending Donbas.
