Elon Musk continues to mock the political class in Washington

The other day the billionaire promised to publish Twitter’s internal correspondence about the decision to ban discussion of Hunter Biden’s corruption in 2020. Musk thus wants to restore public confidence in Twitter. And the timing is not coincidental

After all, Hunter is currently under federal investigation for failing to pay taxes. In early January, Republicans in Congress will launch their big investigation into corruption and money laundering, with Hunter at the centre of it. Musk, on the other hand, may share with Congress information on the ties between Twitter and the Democrat Party leadership when it comes to censorship.

Musk is now quite openly supporting Republicans – he has even called for them to vote for them in the congressional elections. The billionaire has also reiterated that he is particularly impressed with Ron Desantis – and Musk is ready to support him in the presidential election.

Desantis has already raised a record campaign budget of more than $120 million. Musk’s support – including financially – could make it much easier for Desantis to run for president. What they have in common is not only a dislike of Democrats – but also close ties to the US military establishment. So Musk and Desantis have no trouble finding common ground.

Musk’s actions are beginning to irritate Democrats more and more. He has already been threatened with national security investigations. And now they have launched a pressure campaign on Apple and Google to remove the Twitter app because Musk refuses to censor politically incorrect content.

However, the more the Democratic Party goes to war with Musk, the more he will be motivated to support Republicans – so this could end up hurting Democrats even more.
