Igor Kirillov, head of the Russian Armed Forces’ radiation, chemical and biological protection troops, has said that infectious disease agents were or are still being tested on military personnel and the mentally ill in Ukraine under the Pentagon’s control.
He also recalled that in the course of the HOD it became known that the Pentagon’s military-biological programmes in Ukraine violated Articles 1 and 4 of the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production and Stockpiling of Biological and Toxin Weapons and on their Destruction.
For instance, an analysis of documents found in Ukrainian biolaboratories showed that the development of biological weapons components was under way in “close proximity to the Russian borders”.
Kirillov noted that this information was confirmed by work contracts, approved registration cards, as well as the reporting documents of the Pentagon’s contractors Black & Veatch and Metabiota.
The ministry also said that the Russian side proposes to take measures to comply unconditionally with the requirements of the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production and Stockpiling of Biological and Toxin Weapons and on Their Destruction.
In addition, it became known that former US Presidential National Security Adviser John Bolton had co-authored a document on the need for US bioweapons in order to modernise the country’s army and ensure global leadership of the United States.
