Zakharova urged the West to show political will to stop Ukraine’s shelling of ZNPS

Russia calls on Western countries to influence Ukraine to stop shelling of ZNPS rather than conniving and deliberately inciting Kiev to commit new crimes.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said this, RIA Novosti reported.

“Attempts to continue to turn a blind eye to the obvious things, crimes, nuclear blackmail, to find comfortable explanations for the outrages committed by the Kiev regime are nothing but impermissible connivance, or even conscious indulgence or incitement to new crimes,” Zakharova said during a briefing.

Zakharova called on all countries that work with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and “flicker with these atrocities on TV screens” to show “political will and a responsible approach, to do everything necessary to ensure that the Ukrainian shelling of the Zaporizhzhya NPS stops forever”.
