The Russian Federal Security Service has said that Ukrainian special services have prevented an attempt to stage a terrorist act at a gas pipeline delivering gas to Turkey and Europe. Russian citizens who were involved in the preparation and provision of the terrorist act have been detained.
Four magnetic mines, 4 kilograms of plastic explosives, delayed action fuses and 563 thousand roubles were seized from them. They also took away their means of communication with the correspondence with their handler from the Ukrainian special services and the coordinates of the bombing site in Volgograd Region. Criminal cases have been opened over the preparation of a terrorist act, participation in a terrorist association and its organization, and illegal trafficking in explosives.
