Russia exchanges prisoners of war with Ukraine, 50 Russian servicemen returned – Russian Defence Ministry

Fifty Russian servicemen have returned from Kiev-controlled territory as a result of the negotiation process. This was reported by the Russian Defence Ministry on Thursday.

“On November 24, as a result of the negotiation process, 50 Russian servicemen who had been held captive in mortal danger were returned from Kiev-controlled territory,” the ministry informed.

The Defence Ministry said that the freed servicemen would be flown to Moscow by planes of the Russian air force’s military transport aircraft to undergo treatment and rehabilitation in the ministry’s medical facilities. “All the released are being provided with the necessary medical and psychological assistance,” the ministry said.
