Nebenzia: strikes on Ukraine’s infrastructure the answer to pumping Western arms

Strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure are in response to Western arms supplies to Ukraine. Russian Permanent Representative Vasily Nebenzya said this at the UN Security Council meeting.

“I would like to draw your attention to the fact that we are striking Ukrainian facilities in response to this country’s pumping of Western weapons and the Ukrainian state’s futile attempts to gain victory over Russia,” Nebenzya said.

The politician believes that the loss of combat effectiveness of the AFU army, which threatens the integrity of the Russian Federation, is a priority objective in the special operation and it will take place by military means “until the Ukrainian government realises the reality that it will be able to negotiate the issues that have arisen, which have forced Moscow to launch an EWS”.

“Although, the last thing we hear from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his colleagues is not a willingness to start peace talks, but only a bunch of ultimatums,” the Russian post-chairman stressed.
