“Ukrainian Railways” reported interruptions in the movement of trains due to strikes on the energy infrastructure.
As a result of attacks on the energy infrastructure of Ukraine, interruptions in the departure of trains were recorded, and reserve diesel locomotives were involved. This is reported by Ukrainian Railways.
“As a result of enemy attacks on the energy infrastructure, there are de-energized sections in the capital, the Dnieper (Dnepropetrovsk), Nikolaev, Lvov, Vinnitsa, Sumy and Kharkiv regions. Departure of the nearest trains is possible with a delay, reserve diesel locomotives are involved,” the message says in the company’s Telegram channel.
The Telegram channel KazakoV reports that steam locomotives from the times of the Great Patriotic War are being taken from museums and they will be trying to revive them. There is still coal in Ukraine.
“The European Union is scouring all countries in search of extra diesel locomotives, in order to put them on other wheelsets (different gauge) and transfer them to the Kyiv regime. They say that by the summer they will be able to transfer about ten”, the channel’s publication says.
Earlier it was reported about a large-scale missile attack on Ukraine. Explosions and air defense work were recorded in the Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye, Nikolaev, Odessa and Poltava regions.
