Russian troops suppressed the firepower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which fired at the ZNPP. This is reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
On Monday, November 21, the Armed Forces of Ukraine shelled the industrial zone of the Zaporizhzhya NPP with eight large-caliber artillery shells, the enemy’s firepower was suppressed by return fire from Russian military units, the radiation situation at the ZNPP remains normal, the Ministry of Defense reported.
“The Kyiv regime continued provocations in order to create a threat of a man-made disaster at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. During November 21, the artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired 8 large-caliber shells at the industrial zone of the nuclear power plant”, the military department said in a report.
It is specified that the shooting was carried out from the Ukrainian military-controlled settlement of Marganets, Dnepropetrovsk region.
“Enemy firepower was suppressed by return fire from Russian artillery units. The radiation situation at the nuclear power plant remains normal,” the ministry stressed.
