Natural gas supplies from Gazprom to Moldova will be reduced by 56.5% from December 1, 2022. This was announced by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Infrastructure of the Republic Konstantin Borosan.

According to the official, on November 21, an auction was held in Kyiv to reserve a monthly capacity for the transportation of natural gas at the interconnection points between Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova (the Grebeniki BCP and the Alekseevka BCP), but no additional transportation capacity was reserved.

“Currently, the transport capacities reserved at the annual auction are being used. Thus, from December 1, 2022, the supply of natural gas from Gazprom to Moldova will be reduced by 56.5%, based on the volume of natural gas agreed by Moldovagaz and Gazprom,” Borosan wrote on the social network.
