Official Havana condemns Western sanctions against Moscow, the Russian Federation can always count on Cuba, said President of the Cuban Republic Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez.
“We would like to share with you one conviction – Russia can always hope and rely on Cuba. <…> Under great impression and emotions, I want to once again confirm the great love that Cuba feels for Russia. This also determines our peoples, our characters, when we are under the pressure of a large number of sanctions that the West imposes against us”, said the Cuban president at the opening of an exhibition of Russian and Soviet artists who wrote in Cuba in different years (quote from RIA Novosti).
He added that within the framework of this exhibition, which “testifies to our love, friendship, solidarity”, the Cuban people also condemn all the sanctions imposed by the West against Russia.
