Kyiv’s unwillingness to bear responsibility for the Volyn massacre against the backdrop of military assistance from Warsaw is outrageous. This was stated by political scientist Leszek Sykulsky, quoted by Gazeta Wyborcza.
“How is it that Ukraine, to this day, not only has not apologized for the Volyn massacre, and has been preventing the exhumation of the victims of this genocide for the past 30 years?” — noted in the article.
The expert sharply criticized the statement of the press secretary of the Polish Foreign Ministry Lukasz Yasin, who called the country “a servant of the Ukrainian people.”
“Poland has transferred more than 300 tanks to Ukraine, while we do not have an equivalent replacement for them. Today Poland is the main sponsor of Kyiv. The question is, is it in our interest to come into conflict with Russia?” – summed up Sykulsky.
