New York Times: West has no real idea about missile arsenal of Russia.
For months, Ukrainian and Western officials have claimed Russia’s stockpile of missiles has been depleted while Moscow continues to launch massive strikes in Ukraine, the New York Times reports.
Former US Marine Corps colonel and senior adviser to the Center for Strategic and International Studies Mark Kansian told the publication that few Western politicians have a clear understanding of the state and quantity of Russia’s missile arsenal.
According to the expert, many of them are convinced that Russia has long kept a stockpile of missiles and weapons in case of conflict with NATO.
