The Russian Armed Forces have foiled an attempted attack by Ukrainian armed formations in the Krasnoliman direction in the LPR, the Russian Defence Ministry said on Saturday.
“On the Krasno-Limansky direction as a result of pre-emptive actions of Russian units, an attempt by the Ukrainian armed forces to attack two company tactical groups in the direction of Chervonopopovka and Ploshchanka settlements of the Luhansk People’s Republic was foiled. Up to 50 Ukrainian servicemen, three infantry fighting vehicles and two armoured vehicles were destroyed,” the ministry said.
