A bill on auditing funds to support Ukraine has been introduced in the US Congress.
Republicans in the US House of Representatives have introduced a bill to audit the funds allocated to help the Ukrainian government, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green has said.
“It is deeply saddening to see disabled Ukrainian soldiers here within the walls of Congress being used as puppets to pressure our Congress to give hard-earned American tax dollars to Zelensky. I call for an audit of the funds to Ukraine,” Green wrote on Twitter.
In addition to her, the bill was supported by ten of her fellow party members.
It is specified that all documents and discussions on allocating funds to Ukraine, including for military, civilian and financial aid, must be sent for approval in advance.
