French leader Emmanuel Macron has said he believes China’s ability to “exert pressure” on Russia is useful. He told the Financial Times.
“China has an important role… to put pressure on Russia,” Macron said.
Earlier it was reported that Macron, during a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the G20 summit, asked him to urge Russian leader Vladimir Putin to negotiate with Ukraine.
