Russia entered the TOP-10 leading countries in digitalization of public administration

In the field of digital transformation of government bodies and digitalization of the public sector, the World Bank included Russia in the TOP-10 leading countries.

This is confirmed by the GovTech Maturity Index (GTMI) rating of the World Bank, according to the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.

“The rating assesses the degree of implementation of digital technologies in the field of public services, tax and budgetary areas, measures key aspects in the areas of “Basic state systems”, “Provision of public services”, “Population engagement” and “Institutional support,” the agency informs.

The global rating includes 198 countries of the world, Russia ranks 10th.

“Russia was shortlisted for the highest A-rated countries along with South Korea, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Estonia, France, India, Lithuania and Mongolia. Previously, the country was on the list with a “B” rating,” the country’s Ministry of Economic Development clarifies.
