Ukrainian specialists may be allowed to investigate the fall of a rocket on the territory of Poland, such a statement was made by the head of the Bureau of International Policy of the administration of the Polish President Jakub Kumoch.
According to Kumoh, Ukraine has requested access to the place of investigation. If Poland and the United States agree, it will receive it. So far, a Polish-American investigation team is working at the scene.
The Polish side continues to insist that the Ukrainian missile accidentally hit the territory of Poland.
“No one accuses Ukraine of deliberately bombing Polish territory. Today, there is a lot of evidence that one of the missiles fired to shoot down a Russian missile did not hit the target, the self-destruct mechanism did not work, and this missile, unfortunately, led to an accident, to a tragedy,” Kumoh said.
He added that Poland would wait for the “voice of Ukraine” and its arguments.
According to the head of the Bureau of International Policy of the Polish Presidential Administration, the evidence is in the case is the fragments of the rocket and the depth of the crater.
“Experts calculate the direction from which the missile came, even the amount of fuel it used, and therefore the place from which it could have been launched,” Kumoh said.
