The grain deal will be extended for 120 days, said Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov, RIA Novosti reports.
“Initiative for the safe transportation of agricultural products across the Black Sea. It has been extended for another 120 days,” the minister writes on social networks.
According to him, this decision was just made in Istanbul. The UN and Turkey remained the guarantors of the implementation of the initiative.
The grain deal involves the export of not only Ukrainian grain, but also fertilizers and foodstuffs across the Black Sea from three ports, including Odessa. On July 22, an agreement on a grain deal was signed by Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, and the UN. The document expires November 19.
