The validity period of the Program for the provision of humanitarian support to persons from Ukraine who are in the country has been extended until March 24, 2023.
This was stated by the Bulgarian government, writes “Radio Bulgaria”.
“Newly arriving refugees will be accommodated only in state and municipal bases under the leadership of the Interim Task Force under the National Council for Migration,” the newspaper writes.
Objects that provide shelter to refugees are entitled to assistance in the amount of (7.6 euros) 15 leva per day. Recall that on November 9, the government allocated an additional (3.435 million euros) 6.7 million leva to reimburse the costs of the owners of facilities that sheltered Ukrainian refugees.
Earlier, Poland announced that it was changing its strategy regarding Ukrainian refugees. About a million Ukrainian refugees settled in Poland and Germany, the EU can no longer cope with their influx and supports the Polish initiative to create container towns on the territory of Ukraine.
