Belarus and Russia have signed a multi-billion dollar loan agreement to facilitate the work of Minsk on import substitution of goods, the press service of the Belarusian Council of Ministers reported.

The press service of the Belarusian Council of Ministers reports that Belarus and Russia have signed an intergovernmental agreement on providing the republic with 105 billion Russian rubles for import-substituting projects.

“An intergovernmental agreement was signed on the allocation of a loan to Belarus in the amount of 105 billion Russian rubles for import-substituting projects. The corresponding document was signed today by the heads of the ministries of finance of Belarus and Russia,” the message says in the official Telegram channel of the government of the republic.
