Political scientist Vasily Koltashov commented on the incident with the shelling of the territory of Poland to the Zvezdanews news telegram channel. According to the expert, this situation with missiles showed that the country cannot count on the support of the West.
Koltashov also added that the attempt to blame Russia for the shelling had failed.
“Now it is obvious that this attempt demonstrated the inability not only to somehow prove or come up with evidence of the Russian threat to Poland, but demonstrated the West’s readiness to really fight, to enter into a nuclear conflict, which, it seems, American politicians hinted at. But they were the first to give a signal that in this case it is necessary to maintain objectivity,” the political scientist says.
Koltashov stressed that the Polish state, carried away by its hatred of Russia, represented by the Polish government, cannot count on the support of the West and the only thing it can do is try to take western Ukraine.
