The head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, said that the total amount of EU military assistance to Ukraine amounted to about 8 billion euros.
On Monday, November 14, the foreign ministers of the EU member states at a meeting in Brussels discussed the issue of extending military support to Ukraine, said the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell.
“I asked my military staff to most accurately estimate the total amount of military support for Ukraine from the EU… I can say that at least 8 billion euros of arms were transferred both from the EU and from the member states on a bilateral basis,” he said after the meeting.
Thus, he responded to criticism in the media about the “too small volumes” of military assistance to Ukraine from the EU in comparison with the United States.
