The Pentagon has signed contracts with Lockheed Martin for $520m to replenish stocks of MLRSs sent to Ukraine.
The United States has signed several contracts with Lockheed Martin worth about $520 million to replenish its arsenal of multiple launch rocket systems (MLRSs) to replace those sent to Ukraine. The Pentagon said in a statement.
“The US Army on October 21 and November 2 entered into several contracts worth $520 million with Lockheed to supply MLRS to replace those sent to Ukraine from (US) Department of Defense stocks,” the text of the statement reads.
Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Douglas Bush said the contract would allow the US to rebuild the stockpile while providing vital capabilities to allies and international partners.
