German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that Russia could not be isolated at the G20 summit in Bali.
Russia failed to isolate at the G20 summit in Indonesia. This was announced on November 15 by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, DPA reports.
“Of course, there are other opinions on this issue (of Ukraine – ed.). But they don’t count,” the politician said.
The agency clarifies that his words indicate that among the G20 countries there are those who “refuse to condemn” Russia’s special operation in Ukraine. The chancellor also added that he would personally continue negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin to resolve the conflict between Kyiv and Moscow.
