Media: West would rather “leave” Ukraine than launch a global war

Western countries would rather “leave” Ukraine than unleash a global war. This opinion was expressed by two international security analysts Ben Ollerenshaw and Julian Spencer-Churchill in an article for National Interest

The US and NATO countries will not go to a global war, but rather “abandon” Ukraine. This is the view outlined by international security analysts Julian Spencer Churchill and Ben Ollerenshaw in an article for the National Interest. Their article focuses on further developments in the Ukrainian crisis and the likelihood of a nuclear war between Russia and NATO.

“The inconvenient truth is that it is not in the interests of Western powers to sacrifice themselves for Ukraine,” the piece notes.

According to the analysts, Russia’s stockpile of strategic nuclear weapons exceeds that of the US and its allies. According to the authors of the article, NATO currently has forces whose potential is “worse than useless”.
